    教学目标


    1.1 知识目标


    1)能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读和拼写下列词汇:


    great, wall, the Great Wall, life, American, r, ver, mre, talk.


    2)总结频度副词结合一般现在时实意动词的用法。


    3)能结合话题,运用“谈论日常活动、了解学校生活”等交际功能意义的表达,进行对话操练并加以总结。


    4)复习含有新年问候、交通方式的表达。

    1)能听懂有关表达交通方式和频度的简单对话和叙述。


    2)能听懂简单的课堂用语,并作出反应。


    3)能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演活动。


    4)能在口头表达中做到发音清晰,注意重音和升降调。


    5)能根据图文理解相关话题,抓住大意和具体信息,并根据要求进行学习活动。


    6)能准确写出黑体单词和词组。


    7)能写出表达交通方式和频度的简单句子。


    8)能写出叙述学校生活的篇章。


    1.3 情感目标


    通过了解他人的校园生活培养关心他人的意识。


    2. 教学重点


    在Sectins A-C已学的基础上,能自行总结频度副词结合一般现在时实意动词的用法,以及新年问候、对频率提问和回答等相关表达法。


    3. 教学难点


    能将本话题学到的关于学校生活、交通方式、频度等知识用文段进行信息的输出。

    Step 1: Warm-up


    Get students ready fr learning.


    Help the students t express crrectly. And help them revise Sectin C at the same time.


    T: Draw yur daily activities frm similar t 1a in Sectin C. Then talk with yur partner abut yur day with the help f the frm. Sme students reprt yur passages t the class.


    e.g.


    I usually get up at 6:30 a.m. At 7:00, I have breakfast.


    ... is my partner. He/ She usually gets up at 6:20 in the mrning ...


    Step 2: Presentatin


    Individual wrk


    Help the students revise the grammar in this sectin.


    T: Read thrugh Sectins A-C. D brainstrming. Try t say the adverbs f frequency and the means f transprtatin yu have learned. Learn “Grammar”, Adverbs f Frequency, in P7.


    2)Pair wrk


    Let the students find and crrect the mistakes in sentences by themselves. The teacher may warn them nt t make the same mistakes next time.


    T: Lk at the sentences n the blackbard which are shwn by the teacher. Find ut the mistakes and try t crrect them by yurself. Then check yur answers with yur partner. Discuss tgether.

    Step 3: Cnslidatin


    The whle class wrk and pair wrk.


    Help the students t cnslidate the wrds and expressins by making and practicing cnversatins.


    Let the students answer the questins in “Functins”. Then act in pairs. Prepare a cnversatin, using new year greetings, adverbs f frequency, the means f transprtatin and s n. Then practice in pairs. Sme pairs act it ut t the whle class.

    B: The same t yu!


    A: D yu usually cme t schl by bus?


    B: Yes, I d. But smetimes I walk t schl.


    A: Hw ften d yu cme t schl n ft?


    B: Twice a week. Hw abut yu? Hw d yu cme t schl?

    Step 4: Practice


    1)Individual wrk


    Play the tape recrder. Check the answers.


    T: Read the sentences in Task 1. Guess the answers befre listening. Then listen t the tape and fill in the blanks. Check with yur partner. Listen again and the whle class read after the tape.


    2)Pair wrk


    Help the students learn t predict befre reading. Check the answers.


    T: D Task 2. Get sme backgrund infrmatin frm the teacher. Lk at the picture in P8. Try t guess what kinds f questins may be asked in the interview. Then read the interview and answer the questins. Discuss yur answers with yur partner. Then the whle class check the answers tgether.


    3)Pair wrk.


    Help the students express crrectly.


    T: Practice the interview in pairs, ne is the interviewer and the ther is Michael. Yu can use facial expressins and gestures t make it easier fr yur classmates t understand yu.


    Step 5: Prductin

    Help the students t practice their spken English.


    T: Sit in grups f fur. D a survey. Survey yur classmates abut their schl life, including hw t g t schl, where t have lunch, when t leave schl, what t d after schl, hw ften des he/ she ... Then cmpare the schl life f American students with yurs and reprt it t the class rally.

    The schl life f American students is different frm urs. In China, we usually g t schl n ft r by bus. But in America, the students usually walk r take a yellw schl bus t schl.

    Step 6: Summary and Hmewrk


    Encurage Ss t summarize the key pints.
