1.1 知识目标
1)能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并在实际的对话操练中加以应用:
Wednesday, Mnday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, physics, gegraphy, P.E., physical educatin, art, histry, math, mathematics, bilgy, plitics, science, meeting.
2)能够在小组合作活动中,掌握字母组合ear, eir/ ere, eer, gh, ght的发音规则并尝试辨音;能够在口头和书面表达中,复习和区分现在进行时及一般现在时的用法。
3)能够就“谈论校园生活、课程及时间表”的话题进行交流与对话操练,如:
① —What class are they having?
—They are having a music class.
② —Hw many lessns des he have every weekday?
—Five.
③ —What time des the next class begin?
—At ten fifty-five.

教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
Get students ready fr learning.
Help the students t revise the verbs and the wrds f places and the “Present Cntinuus” in Tpic 2. Organize the game t aruse the students’ interests.
Play a game. One student cmes t the frnt f the classrm. The teacher shws ne flashcard t him/ her. There are sme wrds abut verbs, places n the flashcards. Then the student in the frnt acts ut the verb t the whle class. The whle class can ask, “Are yu swimming?” And the student can nly answer, “Yes” r “N”.
e.g.
Ss: Are yu dancing?
S1: N.
Ss: Are yu swimming?
S1: Yes, I am.
Step 2: Presentatin
The whle class wrk
Present new wrds f the days f a week with the help f the flashcards and English sngs.
T: Lk at the flashcards abut the days f a week. Learn the new wrds abut the days f a week. Then learn t sing the sng: “The days f a week”.
The lyrics: Sunday, Mnday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Help the students learn the wrds abut the days f a week.
T: Lk at the flashcards. The whle class try t answer the teacher’s questin:
T: What day is it tday?
Ss: It’s ...
...
After that, sme students answer the questins individually.
3)Grup wrk
Help the students g n learning the wrds abut the days f a week.
T: Lk at the flashcards. Take turns t say the wrds f the days f a week in grups.
4)Individual wrk
Help the students learn the new wrds f subjects with the help f the pictures.
T: Lk at the pictures which the bks’ cvers and learn the new wrds f subjects. Match the subjects with the pictures related t the subjects individually.
e.g.

a picture f triangle—math

T: Try t write dwn yur timetable in English individually.
5)Pair wrk
Play the tape recrder and check the answers.
T: D 1a and 1b. Lk at the pictures in 1a. Predict the listening material in 1a. Then listen t the tape and fill in the blanks in 1b individually. After that, check the answers with yur partner.
Step 3: Cnslidatin
Read 1a after the tape. Then practice the cnversatin in 1a in pairs.
Let sme pairs read ut the cnversatin t the whle class.
Step 4: Practice
1)Pair wrk
Make the students practice the days f a week and names f subjects in cnversatins.
T: After practicing the cnversatin in 1a, make up a new cnversatin with the infrmatin in 1c in pairs. Then practice yur new cnversatin with yur partner. After that, sme pairs act ut yur cnversatin t the whle class.
e.g.
A: What is yur favrite day?
B: Mnday.
A: Why?
B: Because we have an art lessn n Mnday. I like art very much.
A: What time des the class begin?
B: At fifteen twenty.
A: What time is the class ver?
B: At sixteen.
2)Individual wrk
Help the students learn t find the answers frm the timetable while listening.
T: Lk at Wen Wei’s timetable and answer the questins in 2 individually. Then the teacher asks and the students answer.
3)Grup wrk
Make the students learn t help each ther and learn frm each ther.
Divide the class int three grups. Every grup reads ne grup f wrds with these letters: ear, eir/ ere, eer, gh, ght.
T: Discuss in grups and find the rules f these sunds by yurselves. Then ne student in each grup reads ut the sund and teaches the sund t the whle class. Then the whle class listen t the tape recrder and check the sunds. Read the sunds and wrds alud after the tape.
4)Grup wrk
Crrect their sunds while they are reading.
T: D brainstrming. Sit in grups. Try t say the wrds which include ear, eir, ere, eer, gh/ ght. Then shw yur result t the whle class. The whle class read the wrds tgether.
5)Individual wrk
Play the tape recrder and check the answers.
T: Listen t 3b and check the wrds yu hear in each grup individually. Then check yur answers with yur partner.
Step 5: Prductin
Individual wrk and pair wrk
Make the students practice the wrds abut the days f a week and subjects in ral wrk and written wrk.
T: Make yur wn timetable in English individually. Yu may imagine what kind f subjects yu want t have n a certain day. Sit in pairs. Then share yur timetable with yur partner. Ask and answer questins accrding t yur ideal timetable.
e.g.
A: Hw many lessns d yu have every weekday?
B: Six. I hpe t have fur classes in the mrning and tw classes in the afternn. Then I can play sprts after class in the afternn.
A: Hw many English lessns d yu have every day?
B: Tw. English is my favrite subject.
Step 6: Summary and Hmewrk
Encurage Ss t summarize the key pints.
T: Class will be ver sn, We shuld summarize the key pints nw. Let’s begin!

Review the wrds and practice the cnversatins in Sectin A with yur partner.
Make up a new cnversatin similar t 1a with yur partner. Then reprt it t the class the next day.
