It’s…和单词来描述动物的外形特征。能听懂Let’s do中的指示语。二、能力目标：1. 能够运用本节课学习的形容词fat, thin, short, tall来描述动物外形特征。2. 能在图片及实物或情景的提示下运用所学词汇及句型It’s...来对动物或人进行外表特征描述。能按Let’s do中的指令做出相应动作。三、情感目标：1. 培养学生的观察力，并且能在一定的语境中运用所学语言进行交际的能力。2. 教育学生动物是我们人类的好朋友，要珍惜爱护动物; 养成不乱投喂动物、保护环境的文明行为习惯。教材分析重点能听说、认读单词：fat, thin, short, tall。能结合句型Look at that…. It’s…和单词来描述动物的外形特征。难点能结合句型Look at that…. It’s…以及He’s…及She’s…并运用单词来描述动物或人物的外形特征。thin中的th的发音，short中的sh的发音。  教具课件PPT，歌曲视频，课文flash教学过程Step 1: Warm-up 1. Greeting.T: Boys and girls. How are you?Ss: I am fine, thank you.     2.Watch a video about pandas.  【设计意图】学生首先通过观看动物的趣味视频，激发学生热爱动物的热情，同时为本节课的教学作铺垫。Step 2: PresentationListen and answer.T: Boys and girls, from the video, what animals can you see?Ss: Pandas!    T: Look! It’s a panda. Is it cute? Is it fat?(过渡：展示一张熊猫的图片, 提出问题引导学生积极思考，并为新授单词作铺垫）Ss: Yes, it is.T: Look at that monkey. Is it fat or thin?Ss：It’s fat.Teach the new words: fat, thin, tall, short and sentence structures: Look at that… It’s…2.1 结合句型 Look at that… It’s…，运用phonics来教读单词，其中用视频强调th的发音技巧；图片说明short还有“短的”的意思。【设计意图】利用多种动物的图片（强烈对比）让学生感知胖与瘦，高与矮的区别，把单词放在句型中做到词不离句，让学生更好地掌握新词汇。2.2 在课本情境中再次结合句型 Look at that… It’s…与Let’s do中的动作/chant: Be fat. Be fat. Be fat, fat, fat! (Be thin/ Be tall, Be short)来教学。【设计意图】 强化学生对新学单词的记忆，结合Let’s do中的句子为下面的教学作铺垫。2.3 Let’s do.【设计意图】 借助课本资源中的歌谣进行句子教学，同时提醒学生注意站起来一边做动作一边chant，调动学生的学习积极性。 Step 3: PracticeGame: Catch me & Lucky kids.【设计意图】通过游戏操练达到寓教于乐的效果，检验学生都已学的动物词汇的掌握程度，及加深学生对本节课新学单词和句型的印象。Let’s match.【设计意图】 通过对动物图片与It’s... 进行配对，提高学生对不同动物外形特征的认识。Step 4: ConsolidationLook, read and choose.【设计意图】 考查学生的认图及认读单词的能力。Fill in the blank.【设计意图】 检测学生对不同动物外形特征的认识和单词的输出能力如何。该题不设选项，题目的难度系数提高，做到教学环节循序渐进。Step 5: ExtensionDraw and say.【设计意图】学生通过亲自动手画自己熟悉的动物或人物，并结合过往学的和新学的单词、句型进行描述拓展思维，不仅体现英语的实用性，也让学生真正投身于趣味英语学习当中。Step 6: SummarySummarize the key words: fat, thin, tall, short & key structures: Look at that….  It’s ….Call on people that we can be friends with animals and we should protect them.【设计意图】呼吁学生保护动物，养成勿乱投喂动物的文明行为习惯。    Step 7: Homework1.
