考点1 情态动词 culd 的用法。
culd 是 can 的过去式,意为“能;会;可以”,表示能力或许可。情态动词 culd 构成的句型用于向对方提出请求或征求对方许可。1. 提出礼貌的要求。culd 可以委婉地请求对方做某事,即委婉地提出请求,常用在 “Culd ”句式中,意为“请你……好吗?”。它的答语是:肯定回答: Sure. / Certainly. / Of curse. / N prblem. / I’d lve t.否定回答: Srry, I can’t. / I’d lve t, but I...
2. 表示请求许可。culd 还可以用于委婉地请求对方允许自己做某事,即可以用在 “Culd ”句式中,意为“我可以……吗?”。它的答语是:肯定回答: Yes, yu can. / Sure. / Of curse. / N prblem.否定回答: Srry, yu can’t.
考点2 “Neither +助动词/情态动词/be 动词+主语”结构的用法。
“Neither + 助动词/情态动词/be 动词+ 主语”, 表示上句否定的情况也适用于后者。例如:—He isn’t a dctr. 他不是医生。—Neither is Mary. 玛丽也不是。—She desn’t like rainy days. 她不喜欢下雨天。—Neither d I. 我也不喜欢。
考点3 brrw,lend 与 keep 的用法区别。
这几个词都有“借”的意思,但它们的含义和用法有所不同。(1)brrw 意为“借入”,即把本来不属于自己的东西借来暂时使用,指向别人借东西, 常与介词 frm 连用。例如:Yu can brrw a bk frm the library. 你可以从图书馆借书。(2)lend 意为“借出”,即把属于自己的东西借给别人暂时使用, 常与介词 t 连用,也可以跟双宾语。例如:Paul lent his bike t me.=Paul lent me his bike. 保罗把自行车借给了我。
(3)keep 意为“借”,为延续性动词,通常和“fr+一段时间”连用,表示“借某物多长时间”。例如:Yu can keep the bk fr tw weeks. 你可以借这本书两个星期。
考点4 “Why dn’t ”句型的用法。
“Why dn’t ”可以简化为“Why ”, 后接动词原形,意为“为什么不……呢?”。例如:—Lk! It’s raining hard. Why dn’t yu take an umbrella with yu?—Well, I’ll take ne right nw.——看,雨下得很大。为什么不带把伞?——好的,我马上拿。
考点5 until, s that, althugh 引导的状语从句。
状语从句就是在句中作状语的从句。状语从句分为时间状语从句、原因状语从句、条件状语从句、结果状语从句、目的状语从句等。1. until 引导的时间状语从句。(★2019·贵港)until 意为“直到”,表示主句的动作发生在从句的动作之前,从句一般位于主句之后。当主句的谓语动词是延续性动词时,主句常用肯定形式;当主句的谓语动词是非延续性动词时,主句常用否定形式。“”意为“直到……才……”。例如:
I’ll stay here until yu cme back. 我会待在这里,直到你回来。Lucy didn’t g t bed until she finished her hmewrk. 露西直到做完作业才睡觉。2. s that 引导的目的状语从句。s that 意为“为的是;以便”,引导目的状语从句,从句中多用 can, culd 等情态动词。例如:They gt up early s that they culd catch the early bus. 他们早起,为的是能赶上早班车。
3. althugh 引导的让步状语从句。(★2020·河池、2019·贺州)althugh 意为“即使;尽管”,与 thugh 意义一样,引导让步状语从句。 althugh / thugh 引导的让步状语从句,主句中不能出现 but,但可以用 yet, still 等。例如:Althugh he is nly 5 years ld, he can write many wrds. 虽然他只有五岁,他却会写很多字。
