    Unit 2 Ill help to clean up the city park.Section A (1a~2d)教学目标【知识与技能】1. 掌握重点词汇clean up, city, cheer, cheer up, give out, volunteer, notice, used to, lonely.2. 掌握以下句型:You could help to clean up the city parks.    We should listen to them and care for them.3. 能了解以下语法:情态动词couldshould的用法;用shouldcould提出建议并对别人的建议作出评价。4. 学会如何主动提供帮助。【过程与方法】1. 小组合作,学会合作学习。2. 自主学习,合作发现。【情感、态度与价值观】1. 在授课过程中渗透成人达己,助人为乐收获快乐的情感目标,使学生在谈论如何为别人提供帮助的对话中能意识到尽己所能,帮助他人,乐于奉献是一种良好的品德。2. 培养学生为他人着想,热爱公益事业,乐于助人的优良品质。教学【教学重点】掌握重点单词和短语的用法;学会提供帮助的基本句型【教学难点】学会提供帮助的基本句型教学准备图片、视频、多媒体教学过程Step 1 Lead inShow some videos about volunteers who are helping others. Let students to some volunteering activities by using the following questions: Who are they? How could we help others?Step 2 New words1. Read and repeat the new words.2. Use these words to make new sentences. Emphasis the usage of these words.Step 3 Discussion1. 1a. Look at the ways you could help others. Then list other ways.2. Ss discuss with their partners and write the ways one could help other. Help plant trees by the river.     Help clean up the city park. Visit the old people in the old peoples home. Help young ids to learn English.Step4 Listening1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they now the meaning of the sentences..2. 1b Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the ways the boy and girl could help others. Then check the answers.Step 5 Pair work1. Let Ss read the conversation in the picture.2. 1c. Use the information in the chart of 1b to make other conversations.A: I hope to work outside.B: You could help to clear up the city parks.……3. Let some pairs act out their conversations.Step 6 Listening2a&2b. Read the questions and finish the listening exercises. Check the answers.Step 7 Pair work1. 2c Tell Ss to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b.2. Let one pair to read out their conversation first. Correct the mistakes and give an example.3. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.Step 8 Reading and Role-play1. Read the conversations and answer the two questions: Wheres Helen going to work this summer? What did Tom do to help the old people?2. Read the conversation after the teacher.3. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs to act out the conversation.Step 9 Language pointsFind out the important words, phrases, sentences and grammar.
