    教学过程

    Step 1 Preview and perception

    Ask the students to read the vocabulary and target language.

    根据句意及汉语或首字母提示完成句子。

    Step 2 Consociation and exploration

    Let the students read the book by themselves in order to find out the answers. They can discuss the questions in groups or ask the teacher for help. When they finish the questions, ask some students to check the answers. Give the students 5~7 minutes.

    Step 3 Leading in

    Ask some students to review the conversation they learned in last class.

    Step 4 Pre-task

    Page 19, 3a

    Ask the students to read the passage and guess the meanings of the words and phrases. Then find the answers to the questions.

    1. Why was Nancy's mom angry with her?

    2. Did they solve the problem? How?

    Step 5 While-task

    Page 19, 3a&3b

    1. Pay more attention to the passage in 3a.Make the students know the meaning of the passage.

    2. Make the students read again. And then finish 3b.

    3. Choose one or two students to check the answers. Then ask one student to write his or her answers on the blackboard.

    4. Ask all the students to check the answers.

    Play the recording and ask the students to listen and repeat.

    Page 19, 3c

    Divide the students into some groups and discuss the questions in groups And have one student in groups say his/her answers.

    Step 6 Post-task

    1. Page 20, Grammar Focus

    (1) Review the grammar box. Work in pairs.

    One asks and the other answers. Then ask some pairs to act them out to the class.

    (2) Practice reading the sentences in the chart.

    2. Page 20, 4a

    Ask the students to write R for requests and P for permission. Then match each one with the correct response. If they don't know the answersthey may discuss them in pairs or ask the teacher for help. Then ask some students to check the answers. And practice the conversations in pairs.

    3. Page 20, 4b

    Ask the students to look at 4b, and fill in the blanks in the conversation. If they don't know the answersthey may discuss them in pairs or ask the teacher for help.

    Then ask some pairs to act the conversation out to the class.

    4Page 20, 4c

    Ask the students to make a list of things their groups need to do for a camping. Then discuss who will do them and complete the chart. Then practice it like this

    Step 7 Consolidation practice

    Look at the students' book of the 2nd exercise.

    Step 8 Summary

    In this class we have learned a passage. Its important. We should retell it. And we should master the new words and phrases “throw, neither, shirt, pass, borrow, lend, finger, hate, while, throw down, take the dog for a walk, be angry with, all the time, as soon as”.
