(1) 能运用自己所学的相关语言知识，借助一些提示材料来描述自己所熟悉的人物的能力；
(2 ) 能运用自己所学的相关英语语言知识，模仿所学过的相关材料来制作简单的广告。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming- up and revisin
(1) Have a dictatin f the new wrds and expressins.
(2) Let sme Ss retell what Peter, Alan and Ma Huan can d.
(3) Let sme Ss t read the three ads again.
Step 2 Presentatin
Shw sme pictures f the famus musician. Fr example, Liu Huan; Ask Ss questins like this:
T: Wh's he? Ss: He's Liu Huan.
T: What des he d? Ss: (Help Ss t answer) He's a famus musician.
Write the wrds musician n the blackbard.

Step 3 Practice
1. T: Next week we'll have a music festival. S we need sme musicians t help with the music festival. I wrte an ad fr help, but sme f the wrds are missed. Please read the ad again and try t fill in the blanks with the wrds in the bx.

Step 4 Writing
1. D yu want t make a pster in English by yurself? Nw wrk with yur grup members, think f an even at ur schl. Then try t make a pster by yurselves. The events may be the music club, the Sprts Day; the art festival and s n
2. Ss wrk in grups. First think f an event at the schl. Then try t make the pster.
3. Teacher walks arund the classrm. Give any help Ss may need. Ask ne f the students in each grup t read their ads t their class. Let ther students in ther grups give sme advice n the ads.
4. Decide which ad is the best.
Step 5 Self Check 1
