教学过程
Step 1 Warming- up and revisin
1. Greet the Ss as usual.
2. Check the hmewrk and have a dictatin f the new wrds and expressins.
3. Let sme Ss retell the passage in 2b.
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Using sme pictures t shw sme ways f transprtatin:
walk, take the bus/train/subway/plane/bat; ride the bike/hrse; g/get t sp by bus/train/subway…
2. Make sme sentences using these phrases.
3. Give sme examples f the sentences.
Step 3 Reading
1. Read the e-mail frm yur pen pal Tm in the US. Fill in the blanks with the wrds in the bx. Understand the meanings f the wrds in the bx. Read the e-mail and get the main idea, then chse the right wrd t cmplete the e-mail.
2. Check the answers.
Step 4 Writing
In this task, it's ur turn t write an e-mail t Tm and tell him hw yu get t schl.
1. First, let's lk at these questins belw:
(Let ne student read the questins alud. Make sure all the students knw the meaning f the questins.)
2. Wrk in pairs ask and answer the questins. And write them dwn n yur wrkbk.
3. Try t write a shrt e-mail with the help f the sentences yu wrte.
4. Check the e-mails with yur partners.
5. Let sme Ss read their e-mail t the class as a mdel.

1. We've learned many ways f transprtatins. Nw let's have a shrt review.
Lk at the wrds in the bxes belw t frm as many expressins as pssible.
2. Ss wrk in grups and try t write as many expressins as pssible:
take a bus, by bus, take a train, by train, take a subway, by subway, ride a bike, by bike….
3. Let sme Ss read their answers. Let ther students add mre phrases.
Nte: by + 出行方式(不加the); take(ride) + a (the)出行方式
Step 6 Self Check 2
1. Lk at the chart belw. Write at least five questins. Then answer the questins with the infrmatin in the chart.
2. 写作提示:根据表格提示,应有三种类型的问题:出行方式(Hw); 距离(Hw far); 所用的时间 (Hw lng); 对每个人都问这三个问题一次。然后根据表格中的提示来回答。
例如:—Hw des Tny get t schl frm hme?
—He gets t schl by bike.
3. 同学们根据老师的指导进行问答。将问题与答案写在练习本。然后在小组内交换检查。
