    【情感、态度与价值观】
    能读懂一些英语的规则制度,能用英语表达和制定一些简单的规则,理解没有规矩不成方圆;无论是在学校时还是在家庭中以及以后走上社会都应当遵守规则,按规则办事。
    教学重难点
    【教学重点】
    (1) 学习本课时出现的新词汇及表达方式;
    (2) 通过进行听力训练,让学生们能听懂本节课时所出现的新的表达方式;
    (3) 通过进行阅读练习来进一步学习运用本课时的新语言知识。
    【教学难点】
    (1) 阅读训练;
    (2) 理解must, have t/ can/can't的用法。
    教学过程
    Step 1 Warming- up and revisin
    (1) Greet the Ss.
    (2) Check the hmewrk. Let sme Ss read their hme rules.
    Step 2 Presentatin
    1. Shw sme pictures n the big screen and let Ss learn the new wrds and expressins.
    2. Let Ss lk at the pictures f 1a.
    T: What day is it tday? Ss: It’s Tuesday.
    T: The by is ging ut n schl nights.
    Write the sentence n the blackbard and teach the Ss t read the sentence. Make the Ss knw the meaning f “schl nights”.
    T: Can yu g ut n schl nights?
    Ss: N, we can’t.
    T: Yes, in China, the students can’t g ut n schl nights.
    S please dn’t g ut n schl nights.
    3. Let Ss read the "rules" f 1b, and write Picture Number a~h in 1b.
    4. Check the answers with the class.
    Step 3 Listening
    1. Tell Ss they'll listen t the recrding abut Dave's huse rules. Listen and put an × fr things Dave can't d and a √ fr things he has t d.
    2. Play the recrding fr the Ss t listen and check.
    3. Play the recrding again fr the Ss t check the answers.
    4. Listen again and wrk n 1c. First, read the phrases alud tgether.
    5. Explain the meaning f the phrases if necessary.
    6. Play the recrding three times fr the Ss t listen and write the phrases in the chart in 1b. Check the answers.
    Step 4 Grup wrk
    1. Divide the Ss int grups. Each grup has eight students.
    2. T: Nw let's talk abut Dave's hme rules.
    3. Ss wrk in grups. Every student can say ne rule. Then yu can write dwn what the rules are when ther grup members say.
    4. Make a list f Dave's huse rules and talk abut them.
    Step 5 Reading
    1. Fast reading
    T: There are many rules in Mlly's hme and schl. She feels unhappy. Read the letter and find the answer t this questin:

    Ss read the letter and find the answer t this questin.

    2. Careful reading
    (1) Read the letter again and underline the rules fr Mlly.
    (2) Ss read the letter and try t find the rules fr Mlly and underline them.
    (3) Check the answers with the class.
    (Let sme Ss read their answers alud. Let ther Ss add sme rules. )
    3. Careful reading
    (1) Read Dr. Knw's letter and answer this questin:
    What des she think f the schl and hme rules?
    (2) Ss read Dr Knw's letter and find the answer t this questin.
    (3) Let ne student read ut his/her answer.
    (She thinks parents and schls are smetimes strict, but they make rules t help us. We have t fllw them. )

    2. Ask Ss write dwn Mlly's rules at hme and at schl.
