    Everybdy knws that this park will be pened t hnr thse wh died in the terrible disaster n this day 33 years ag. We shuld say that all f yu are very lucky t have survived. But never can we frget thse wh helped yu d the rescue wrk. They dug ut thse wh had been trapped and buried the dead.
    They als helped build the new city. They built new hmes and ffices in nly seven years. Fr this wrk, many wrkers and sldiers lst their lives. We shuld shw ur greatest hnr t them. When I first arrived in the city yesterday, I came t understand why Tangshan was called “Brave City f China”.

    M: Oh, my gdness. It was abut 5 ’clck in the mrning. I remember, I wke up when I was thrwn ut f the bed. When I tried t walk, the flr shk s that I fell. I felt terrified and rushed dwnstairs.R: What did yu see utside?M: Oh, I saw things I never want t see again. It seemed as if the end f the
    wrld came. Peple were crying, shuting and running everywhere. bricks were falling dwn frm sme buildings while big nes were shaking… Lts f peple were getting buried under bricks.     Reading and writing Yu are ging t write an article fr a newspaper abut a special event that happened in yur hmetwn. Befre yu start, yu shuld write an utline. It will help yu rganize yur ideas. A newspaper utline usually includes: a headline, a list f main ideas and a list f imprtant details.
    An interesting title that tells the reader what yur tpic is.
    D yu knw what an utline is?
    1. Why an utline is imprtant? Because an utline will prepare yu t write a better stry.2. What shuld an utline cnclude? A gd utline shuld have a headline, a list f main idea and a list f imprtant details.
    Discuss with yur partners the fllwing questins.
    3. Why a headline is imprtant? A headline can tell the reader what the tpic is, s it can attract the reader’s attentin since the reader may nt have bught the newspaper befre they read the headline.
    4. What are the steps t finish a newspaper stry? First, rganize the main ideas. Next, put sme details int each paragraph.5. What is the feature f the newspaper stry? A newspaper stry gives the mst imprtant news first and the least imprtant news last.
    Nw write yur utline. Befre yu write it, ask yurself these questins: What happened? When did it happen? Where? Wh tk part? Why?
