    William Tyndale believed that the Bible shuld be able t be read by everyne. At that time Christianity was the religin f England but the Bible was nly read and understand by priests and religius peple. It was written in several different ancient languages and there was n versin in English. William Tyndale made it his life’s wrk t translate the Bible int easily readable English fr the peple f his time. William Tyndale was put in prisn and died fr his ideas but his wrk was later used in the Bible.
    Nrman Bethune was a Canadian and als a cmmunist. He had a very strng feeling against injustice. He was als a very imprtant dctr in his wn cuntry wh made many imprtant changes t the way surgery was carried ut. He fught against the German Nazis and Japanese invaders during Wrld War II, and saved many Chinese sldiers. He died helping the Chinese army as a dctr.
    Sun Yat-sen funded the first Republic in China in 1911 after many years’ fighting. He strngly believed in the three principles: natinalism; peple’s rights; peple’s livelihd.
    Mahatma Gandhi gave up a rich life fr his ideas and fught fr his cuntry t be free frm the UK in a peaceful way.
    Nelsn Mandela fught fr the black peple and was in prisn fr thirty years. He helped the black peple t get the same rights as white peple.
    Neil Armstrng was the first man t walk n the mn. He was a pilt in the American Air Frce and later jined the astrnaut prgramme. He was chsen t be the first man t walk n the mn.

    The time when I first met Nelsn Mandela, was a very difficult perid f my life.In was in 1952 and he had pened a black law firm t advise pr black peple n their prblems.After trying hard, I gt a jb in a gld mine.The last thirty years have seen the greatest number f laws stpping ur rights and prgress, until tday we have reached a stage where we have almst n rights at all.We were put in a psitin in which we had either t accept we were less imprtant, r fight the Gvernment.Only then did we decide t answer vilence with vilence.
