II. Teaching aims:
1).To learn some useful words and expressions
2).To learn some useful structures
3) Grasp the usage of such important expressions :
in cash; play jokes/a joke on (sb.); be/get familiar with; even more; imagine; direction; in addition; send out; sort out; mix up
4)Master the sentence pattern:
① make +宾语+宾补(动词原形)
② 分词作状语

IV. Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Exercise on the text book
(1) Complete Exercise One in Learning about Language on Page 36. Asking and answering activity to check the students’ answers of the exercises; individual, pair of group work or finish each task.

(2) Read the passage and finish exercise 2 on page 36.
