e.g. A great / gd many wrds and expressins have cme int the language frm American English. 这门语言吸收了美国英语中的许 多单词和短语。 There were scres f bxes, all waiting t be checked. 大批的箱子等着检验后装运。
★ 修饰不可数名词的有:a large amunt f, a gd deal f 等,谓 语动词用单数形式。e.g. A large amunt f mney has been spent n his new huse. 他的新房子已经花了很多钱。
★ 既能修饰可数名词,又能修饰不可 数名词的有:a lt f, lts f, plenty f等,谓语动词的数根据被修饰的 名词是可数或不可数而定。e.g. A lt f / Lts f peple are cming t the meeting. 很多人来参加会议。
