1.时间状语从句
引导时间状语从句的连词:when, as, while, befre, since, until/till, the mment等。
(1)when
①when意为“当……时候”
如果主句表示的是短暂性动作,而从句用延续性动词的进行时表示在一段时间内正在进行的动作时,when,while与as可互换使用。
When/While/As I was walking dwn the street, I came acrss an ld friend f mine.
我正沿着大街走时,碰巧遇到了我的一个老朋友。
②when意为“就在这时”,常用于以下句式
was/were ding 正在做……就在那时……
was abut t d 刚要做……就在那时……
had just dne 刚刚做……就在那时……
刚……就……
The ld man had hardly stepped dwn frm the bus when it started. 这位老人刚下汽车,汽车就开走了。
(2)while
①while引导时间状语从句表示“当……的时候”,常接延续性动词。
②while意为“然而”,表示前后对比转折。
③while引导让步状语从句时,意为“尽管,虽然”,多放于句首,相当于althugh/thugh。
While I understand what yu said, I can’t agree with yu.
虽然我理解你的意思,但我还是不同意。
(3)as
①as引导时间状语从句,意为“一边……一边;随着”。
②as引导让步状语从句,意为“虽然”,必须倒装。
As he grew lder, he became less active.
随着他逐渐长大,他变得不那么活泼了。
(4)befre作连词:It will/wn’t be+一段时间+befre...意为“过了多少时间才/没过多长时间就”。
Jhn thinks it wn’t be lng befre he is ready fr his new jb. 约翰认为不久他就能为他的新工作做好准备。
(5)since引导时间状语从句时表示“从……以来”,常用句型:It is/has been+一段时间+since...。

(6)until
常用于 “直到……时候才”句式。

直到他来了我们才能开始讨论。
2.where, wherever引导地点状语从句
I cannt hear the prfessr clearly as there is t much nise where I am sitting.
因为我坐的地方噪音太大,所以听不清教授在说什么。
3.if, unless, as lng as引导条件状语从句
(1)if表示正面的条件,意为“如果”;unless(=)表示反面的条件,意为“除非,如果不”。
(2)as lng as意为“只要”。
We will have a picnic in the park this Sunday unless it rains r it’s very cld.
除非下雨或天很冷,否则我们将在本周日去公园野餐。
My parents dn’t mind what jb I d as lng as I am happy.
我的父母不在意我从事什么工作,只要我高兴就好。
4.,than引导比较状语从句
He can speak English as fluently as a native speaker.

5.because, as, since, nw that(既然) 引导原因状语从句

7.引导结果状语从句

8.as if ,as thugh引导方式状语从句
Jack wasn’t ding anything,but the teacher smiled at him as if he had dne smething very clever. 杰克什么都没做,但是老师向他微笑,好像他做了什么明智之举。
9.thugh,althugh;even thugh/even if;疑问词+ever;引导让步状语从句
thugh和althugh两者意思相同,意为“尽管,虽然”,一般可以互换,都可以与yet, still连用,但不能和连词but连用。
Thugh/Althugh regular exercise is very imprtant, it’s never a gd idea t exercise t clse t bedtime.
尽管有规律的锻炼很重要, 但临睡前锻炼不是个好主意。
