上面的“first”“secnd”…… “twelfth”这样的词叫作序数词。它们可以用来表示事物的排列顺序。它们是由表示数目的基数词转变而来的。
第一、二、三要全变，其余“th”加后面， “th”里有例外，八去"t"，九去"e"，字母"f"代"ve"， "ty"变成"tie"。
基数词变序数词的记忆口诀
两人一组，一个人说基数词，另一个人说序数词。
