3.根据文中的"yu can spend just $ 239 n a hearing aid that's great fr mst mild t mderate hearing lss (nly $ 199 each when yu buy a pair)"可知,单独买一只助听器时价格是239美元,如果买一副,单只的价格为199美元,需花费:199×2=398(美元)。故选C。
    B
Everywhere he lks... That even applies t the keybard culture… t create digital stickers that shw what he thinks is missing: symbls f histry, life and culture in Côte d'Ivire and neighbring cuntries"可知,西方文化影响了他们生活 的方方面面,Grebet运用自己的设计技能制作了数字贴纸,描绘出他认为缺失的东西:科特迪瓦和邻国历史、生活和文化的象征。
It's mre impressive than ther emji apps, with the feature f cnnecting t the realities f Africans using it... African instruments like the djembe drum and peple dressed in a variety f prints and clthing that can reflect lcal traditin"可知,Zuzukwa具有比其他同类应用程序更令人印象深刻的特点——贴近使用它的非洲人的现实生活,体现当地生活和文化特色,即它与当地人的联系更加紧密。
There's a wman with lips pursed, giving sme serius side-eye — a sign yu can use when yur friend keeps yu waiting lng fr n reasn"可推知,本段提到的 Grebet 的这个设计(噘着嘴、斜着眼的女士)传达的是恼怒的情绪。
Sme f his favrite designs are a series f facial expressins cmmnly used in his area, but nt available as standardized emjis"和最后一段的"The next step, Grebet says, is t try and get sme f his designs int the fficial emji set... everywhere"可知,Grebet喜欢的一些设计还无法作为标准表情符号使用,他下一步会尝试把他的一些设计加入到官方表情包中,这些设计将被全球范围内超过20亿人看到,成为标准化的表情符号。

While much attentin has been paid t the health influence f first-hand, secnd-hand and nw third-hand smking, it is nt the case when it cmes t the actual cigarette end f the matter"可知,尽管人们很关注一手烟、二手烟对健康的影响,现在也关注了三手烟对健康的影响,但当谈到烟蒂对健康的影响时,情况就并非如此了。
When the air temperature f the rm was higher, fr instance, they nticed the ends prduced these chemicals at higher rates"可知,温度高时,烟蒂释放有害的化学物质的速度更快,再根据"This finding might discurage thse wh want t leave ashtrays(烟灰缸)ut fr days at a time, especially in the heat"可知,这个发现可能会打消那些人好几天尤其是在高温情况下都放着烟灰缸不管的念头。

41 t enter 42 where 43 cmpletely 44 was infrmed 45 survival 46 impssible 47 with 48 had expected 49 changing 50 an
prepare t d sth.
注意:familiar还可与t搭配,be familiar t sb.
My hmetwn Quanzhu lies in the sutheast f Fujian Prvince, with rlling hills, valleys and basins. It's a beautiful place fr peple live in. Its ecnmy has been grwing during the past ten years. New bridges and rads have been set up and high buildings in many parts f the city. number f schls and hspitals available t peple is als n the increase. there are still sme prblems, such as frequent traffic and severe air pllutin, which have a bad influence n peple's daily life. Despite these prblems, I am that my hmetwn will becme mre beautiful. Time permitting, yu are welcme t visit .
    第五处: A→The。 根据句意及be动词"is"可判断,此处应用The。
    第六处: S→But。
    第十处: them→it。
Gd mrning, everyne! It's my great hnr t speak here. As we all knw, fd is the first necessity fr peple. It prvides ur bdy with energy. But in daily life, t much fd is wasted, which makes saving fd urgent.
Then what shuld we d? First, we shuld always prepare a prper amunt f fd. Besides, when dining ut, we shuldn't rder t much fd and if any, we shuld take the leftvers hme. Finally, we shuld help raise peple's awareness f saving, which can be an effective way t stp fd waste frm its rigin.
Saving fd isn't a slgan; it shuld take rt in ur heart. I hpe everyne will try their best t save fd frm nw n.
