1. Is there a park near yur schl? 在你的学校附近有一个公园吗？
“Is there…” 是“There is…”结构的一般疑问句，是把be动词is移到there的前面构成的。
肯定回答：Yes, there is. / 否定回答：N, there isn’t.
例： —桌子上有一本书吗？ —不，没有。 —Is there a bk n the desk? —N, there isn’t.
注意：“Is there…” 后接可数名词单数，或是不可数名词。如果句子中有sme修辞不可数名词， 则要把sme改成any.
例: 杯子里有水吗？ Is there any water in the cup?
2. There’s a clthes shp ver there. 在那里有一家服装店。
There’s 是There is 的缩略形式。 There is 是there be 结构的一种形式，表示什么地方或者时间存在某人或是某物。 There is… 后接可数名词单数，或是不可数名词。
例：星期天有一场足球赛。 There is a ftball match n Sunday.
注意：there be 的be动词由那个靠得最近的那个名词的单复数决定。
例：桌子上有一本书和两支钢笔。 There is a bk and tw pens n the table. 桌子上有两支钢笔和一本书。 There are tw pens and a bk n the table.
拓展：There is…的否定形式
There is…的否定形式是在is 后面直接加nt，即There isn’t…; 如果原句中有sme，则要把sme改成any.
例：桌子上没有一本书。 There isn’t a bk n the table. 杯子里没有果汁。 There isn’t any juice in the cup.
