Step 1: Warming up
1.Greeting.
2.Listen and chant.
3. Get Ss t repeat it.
Step 2: Revisin
1.CAI Shws sme pictures t Ss.(cat, bag, hat)
T: “Lk! What’s this?” Ss: “It is a.…”
2.Read the three wrds in high and lw vice.
3.Ask Ss t read it.
T: “Please stand up and read it fast!”
Litter teacher.
Step 3: Presentatin
1.T shws the ty cat t Ss: “Lk! A cat! Where’s the cat?”
Guide Ss t describe the lcatin with the new wrd “in”.
2. T puts the cat in different lcatins. Let Ss make the sentences: it’s n the hat. It’s under the hat.
3.Write the three sentences n the blackbard: It’s in my hat. It’s in my hat. It’s under my hat.
4.Read grup by grup.
5.T takes ut f a pen, then hade it and ask “Where’s the pen?”
6. Let Ss put their pencils in different places. T reads “Where’s the cat?” “It’s in my bag.” Let Ss listen and d.
7. Get Ss t repeat.
Step 4: Practice
1.Read the sentences pattern fast: It’s in /n /under…
2.T pints t the picture, asks t Ss: “Where is the bird?” Ss answer “It’s in /n /under…”
3.Watch the CD-ROM. Then let Ss listen ,pint and read.
4. Bys ask, and girls answer. Then change.

Listen and chant.

T uts the bird n the hat r under the hat, let Ss describe the lcatins with the sentences “It’s n the hat. / It’s under the hat.”
(Bb writing: It’s n my hat./ It’s under my hat)
Let Ss pay mre attentin t the wrd “under”.
Practice mre like this.
T put different thing under the hat, just like a pen, a pencil, a bk and s n, let Ss make the sentence “It’s under the hat.”
3. T: Lk! A bx! And a cat is cming! Can yu guess? Where’s the cat? (CAI shws a picture t hide the cat.)
T: I knw. Yu can ask me “Where’s the cat?”, I’ll tell yu quietly.
Encurage mre students t ask “Where’s the cat?”.
At last let Ss ask tgether. T shws the answer: It’s in the bx.
4. CAI shws pictures, let Ss describe the lcatin f the cat
with the sentences “It’s n/under the bx.”
