    Step 1 Warming-up
    1. Enjy a play: La She Teahuse.
    2. Review the text f Unit 1.
    3. Shw sme pictures.
    4. Lk at the pictures, and talk smething abut the pictures.
    5. Intrduce the new wrds.
    6. Learn the new wrds.
    7. Read the new wrds.
    Step 2 Wrk in pairs
    1. Ask and answer questins abut La She.
    1) What d yu knw abut La She?
    2) What are his mst famus bks and plays?
    3) What’s the special abut La She Teahuse?
    2. Tell the students abut La She.
    La She (1899-1966) was ne f the mst renwned cntemprary Chinese writers, famus fr his nvels and plays. His wrks have been translated int ver 20 freign languages.
    Step 3 Reading
    1. Play the recrding and listen t the tape carefully.
    2. Ask the students t read thrugh the passage.
    3. Read the passage by themselves.
    4. Read the text tgether.

    happen与take place都可以表示“发生”,但它们在用法上是有区别的。
    happen往往指偶然的、未能预见的客观情况的发生;take place主要指经过酝酿的事情的发生,没有“偶然”的含义。如:
