    一、教学目标
    1. 能够掌握新词汇和短语:beat, careless, cach, against, cheer…n, play against, warm up等。
    2. 能够掌握重点句型:
    We all arrive as early as we can s that we have time t warm up.
    We are training harder than usual because the ther team beat us last year.
    That means we have a better chance f winning.
    They cheer us n ludly and we feel mre cnfident t win the game.
    3. 能够读懂描写体育运动的短文,明确文章的主旨大意,并能够从文章找出信息,正确回答相关问题。
    4. 能够运用形容词和副词的比较级来描写体育运动。
    5. 通过本课的学习,能够意识到体育竞技项目的团队意识,提高凝聚力。
    二、教学重点及难点
    重点:
    1. 掌握本单元的新单词和短语。
    2. 读懂描写体育运动的短文,明确文章的主旨大意,并能够从文章找出信息,正确回答相关问题。
    难点:
    运用形容词和副词的比较级来描述体育运动。
    三、教学准备
    1. 多媒体设备和课件;
    2. 设计课后巩固练习;
    3. 教学图片。
    四、教学过程
    Step 1 Warming-up
    Lk at the pictures and talk abut them.
    【设计意图】通过看图说话的方式,检测学生对所学知识的掌握情况,同时激发学生参与课堂的兴趣。
    Step 2 Pre-reading
    1. T shws sme pictures ne by ne. Then ask the class t read the new wrds and expressins.
    【设计意图】通过看图学单词和短语,帮助学生理解和记忆新知。
    2. T asks Ss t g thrugh the wrds and expressins and checks if they knw the meanings f all the wrds and expressins.
    3. Ask Ss t wrk in grups and talk abut the pictures. Remind Ss t use the wrds and expressins in the bx.
    4. Invite sme Ss t share their answers.

    Step 3 While-reading
    1. Ss read the passage and match each paragraph with the main idea.
    2. T asks the class t read Para.1 and answer the questins.
    3. T asks the class t read Para.2 and 3 and answer the questins.
    4. Ss read Para.4 and fill in the blanks.
    5. T asks Ss t read and cmplete the table.

    Step 4 Pst-reading
    1. Fill in the blanks and retell the passage.
    【设计意图】通过复述文章提高学生的口语表达能力。
    2. Learn the language pints.
    (1) I am in ur schl team and we are ging t play against anther schl next week. 我是校队成员,我们下周将要和另一所学校比赛。
    (2) We all arrive as early as we can s that we have time t warm up. 我们都尽可能早到校,以便我们有时间热身。
    (3) We are training harder than usual because the ther team beat us last year. 我们比平常更加刻苦地训练,因为另一支球队去年打败过我们。
    (4) This year we want t d better. 今年我们想做得更好。

    10. Ask sme vlunteers t share their passages with the whle class.
