    教学设计
    一、教学目标
    1. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。
    2. 了解西方人在情感表达方面的特点。
    3. 能够运用对话和阅读中学到的语言描述班上的同学。
    4. 能阅读关于介绍西方人在情感表达方面的特点并能完成相应题目。
    5. 能够关于个人爱好和感受对一个人进行简单的描写。
    6. 能够学会如何和陌生人交流。
    二、教学重点及难点
    重点:
    1. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。
    2. 了解西方人在情感表达方面的特点。
    难点:
    运用所学知识描述自己的同学,包括外貌、性格、情感等。
    三、教学准备
    1. 多媒体设备和课件。
    2. 教学光盘。
    四、教学过程
    Step 1 Warming-up
    1. Lk and say.
    (1) Ask Ss t wrk in grups, lk at the pictures and try t describe them using what they have learnt in this mdule.
    (2) Select sme grups t shw their descriptins.
    2. Match the descriptins with the pictures.
    (1) Ask Ss t read the descriptins individually and match them with the pictures.
    (2) Check the answers with the whle class.
    【设计意图】小组合作观察图片,并尝试用所学的描述方法对图片中的人物进行描述。通过此活动复习巩固如何对一个人进行描述。
    Step 2 Practice
    Activity 6
    1. Ask Ss t read the text and tell if Chinese peple are similar r nt.
    2. Ask them t tell what the differences are.
    3. Have Ss read the text again and cmplete it with the crrect wrds.
    4. Crrect answers as a class.
    【设计意图】通过这些活动,复习巩固本模块的词汇。
    Activity 7
    1. Ask Ss t read the adjectives and use them t write abut things individually.
    2. Elicit tw r three examples frm Ss and write them n the blackbard.
    3. Have Ss cmpare sentences in small grups, then as a class.
    4. Give sme pssible answers.
    【设计意图】通过创设任务,帮助学生运用目标词汇写句子,锻炼学生的写作能力。
    Activity 8
    Wrk in pairs. Ask Ss t describe a thing in the bx t their partner. Their partner shuld guess what it is.
    【设计意图】在培养学生合作学习意识的同时,帮助学生锻炼了口语表达及听取关键信息的能力。
    Activity 9
    1. Ask Ss t lk at the ntes and predict sme f the things they might hear.
    2. Tell Ss t listen t the recrding and write dwn what they can remember.
    3. Play the recrding again fr Ss t cmplete the ntes.
    4. Play the recrding fr the third time t check the answers as a class.
    【设计意图】听力练习要注意指导学生使用听力技巧,以达到事半功倍的效果。

    1. Lk and guess.
    (1) Shw a picture and ask the questin:

    (2) Ask Ss t guess the pssible answers.
    2. Read the passage and fill in the blanks.

    (4) It is _______ fr peple t say “thank yu” t thers.
    3. Check the answers as a class.
    4. Explain the wrds r sentences which Ss dn’t understand.

    Step 3 Prductin
    Mdule task: Writing a descriptin f a classmate
    1. Think abut ne f yur classmates.
    (1) Tell Ss they are ging t write a descriptin f ne f their classmates, but they must keep the name f the persn as a secret.
    (2) Ask them t chse smene t write abut and take ntes under the headings given. Tell them they need nly write single wrds, such as adjectives r hbbies, at this stage.
    2. Write a descriptin f him / her.
    (1) Tell Ss t rganize their ntes in the fllwing rder: age, physical descriptin, hbbies.
    (2) Have Ss write a first draft f their descriptin using their ntes t help.
    (3) Tell Ss t check the crrect frms f wrds that they have used and then t write a final cpy f their descriptin.
    3. Wrk in grups. Share yur descriptin with yur classmates. Let them guess wh he / she is.
    (1) Put Ss in grups f fur r five and ask them t share their descriptins with their grup members.
    (2) Each S takes and reads ne f their partner’s descriptins and, silently, guesses which classmate is being described.
    (3) Ask Ss t repeat the previus step, reading each f the descriptins in the grup, ne by ne.
    (4) When they have all read their partners’ descriptins, they cmpare their guesses and discuss.
    【设计意图】让学生小组合作描述自己的同学,然后让其他同学猜测,在快乐游戏的过程中运用本模块的知识。
