一、教学目标
1. 正确运用本模块的词汇和短语。
2. 学会使用and, r, but连接的并列复合句。
3. 能够读懂介绍英文课程的文章。
4. 通过了解暑期英文课程培养学生学习英语的热情和勇于克服困难的意志。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:正确使用and, r, but连接的并列复合句。
难点:通过听说读写使学生会使用并列复合句。

Step Ⅰ Warming-up
Free-talk
Have a free talk with Ss:
Have yu ever been t anther cuntry?
Have yu ever made friends with freigners?
Will yu have dinner with a freign family?
Wuld yu like t stay with a hst family?
Is living in a freign family gd fr imprving yur English?
设计意图:通过与学生的自由交谈,快速引入新课的同时也训练了学生的口语表达能力。

设计意图:以本单元的句子为引子,引导学生自主发现语法现象,教师作讲解补充,便于对知识系统掌握,加深印象。

设计意图:通过让学生做近年中考题巩固并列复合句这一重要语法点,检查学生对该语法点掌握情况的同时,也在体验中考题型的过程中加深对该语法点的巩固。

Check the answers tgether.
Wrk in pairs and say the sentences.
设计意图:让学生通过与同伴的合作组合句子并读句子强化了学生对and, r ,but引导的并列复合句的运用。
Activity 2
1. Ask Ss t cmplete the passage with “and”, “but” and “r”.
2. Ask Ss t cmpare answers with their partners, and then check as a class.
设计意图:本活动的目的是在语篇中进一步练习并列复合句,本语篇与第二单元课文相似,有助于学生巩固新的语法。
Activity 3
1. Read the instructins as a class and check students’ understanding.
2. Write a sentence n the bard, fr example, “Many turists g t Paris.”
3. Invite a St t cme t the bard and add infrmatin after “but”.
4. Ask anther St t add anther sentence with “but”.
5. Ask the first St t add, and s n, until ne St cannt think f anything t add.

But it is a quite expensive city.
But the weather is nt always very gd.
3. Ask anther tw students t cme t the bard and demnstrate with a secnd sentence.
设计意图:本活动是与话题相关的开放性的输出活动,旨在帮助学生进一步巩固并列复合句,同时激发学生的想象力和创造力。
Activity 4
1. Ask students t read and understand the infrmatin in the advertisement.
2. G thrugh the wrds and expressin in the bx with students and check meanings.
3. Ask Ss t cmplete the sentences accrding t the infrmatin in the advertisement.
4. Ask Ss t check their answers with a partner and then as a whle class.
设计意图:本活动有两个目的,一是帮助学生巩固本模块词汇,二是训练学生阅读后的信息转述能力。

Have Ss wrk in pairs. Imagine that they are ging t take summer English curses in Australia. Write dwn questins abut the curse. Use the wrds r expressin in the bx in Activity 4.
设计意图:学生在上课的过程中相互帮助, 发展学生综合运用语言的能力。

1. and的用法
并列连词and意为“和,又”,表示并列关系,常用来连接表示对等成分的单词、短语或者句子,表示意思的顺延或增补。
2. but的用法
并列连词but意为“但是”,表示转折关系,所连接的成分意思相反或相对。
3. r的用法
并列连词r意为“或者”,表示选择关系。
设计意图:带领学生梳理所学知识,方便学生课后巩固复习。
