教学过程
Step 1 Warming- up and revisin
1. Have a dictatin f the new wrds and expressins.
2. Let Ss read the letters.
3. Check the usage f "have t" and "must".
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Present sme new wrds n the big screen.
hair, learn, keep + 名词 + 形容词
2. Ss learn the new wrds and expressins.
3. Review the hw t use have t and must; can and can't.
Step 3 Practice
T: Zha Pei has many rules at hme and at schl. She's unhappy, t. She wants sme help frm Dr. Knw. Read her letter belw and fill in the blanks with have t /must, can /can't.
Ss cmplete Zha Pei's letter with have t/must, can r can't. Check the answers.
Step 4 Writing
1. Wrk n 3b:
We have many rules at hme and at ur schl. Think what things yu have t d and what things yu can't d. Cmplete the chart with rules in yur hme and schl. Yu can discuss with yur partners in yur grup.
2. Ss discuss their rules in grups. Then fill in the blanks. Then check the rules yu think are unfair. Fr example: Yu must wear a schl unifrm at schl. Yu must keep yur hair shrt at schl.
3. Let sme grups say their answers. Write sme f the rules n the blackbard.
Then write a letter t Dr Knw. Tell her abut all the rules and hw yu feel abut them.
4. Ss write the letter n the wrkbk. Exchange their wrkbk with their partner. Check the letters.
5. Let sme Ss read their letter t the class. Crrect the mistakes in the letter.

1. Tell Ss they will read an interesting stry abut Timmy the Muse. He's an funny muse. D yu want t knw what rules he has at hme? Nw read this shrt passage and fill in the blanks with the wrds in the bx.
2. Ss read the shrt passage and try t fill in the blanks with the wrds in the bx.
3. Check the answers.
4. Explain sme sentences that Ss may have difficulty understanding them.
Step 6 Self Check 2
1. Review the use f can/can't; have/must; dn't have t。
2. Tell Ss they shuld use "can/can't; have/must; dn't have t" t write abut the rules at schl. Write tw sentences fr each rule.
3. Ss wrk by themselves and write the rules n the wrkbk.
