    人教版2019英语选择性必修三Unit 1 Art Period 1 Reading and Thinking教学设计课题Period 1Reading and thinking单元Unit 1 Art学科English年级Senior Grade 2教材分析The activities on this period are designed around the passage "A SHORT HISTORY OF WESTERN PAINTING". The lead-in part focus on the brief introduction about art and painting. The pre-reading part shows the photos and the tile of the passage, making students have a prediction, and then presents the key words and phrases of the passage. The while-reading part is divided into two activities. Extensive reading makes students to read the passage quickly and have a general understanding. Intensive reading leads students to understand the passage more detailed. The post-reading part pay emphasis on the language points and make some practice about the passage, in order to let students have a deeper understanding about art and painting.
