Study skills
Step 1 Learn syllables.
1. 英语单词可以划分成音节。一个单词可能分成一个、两个、三个或更多音节。例如:
clean late feel tea (单音节)
lazy fashin abut (双音节)
expensive ppular (三个音节)
2. Listen t A and repeat the wrds.
Wrds with ne syllable: fun swim
Wrds with tw syllables: en·jy clever
Wrds with three syllables: inter·est·ed favurite
3. Listen t B and write dwn the number f syllables in the blanks.
1. lazy _____
2. hamburger _____
3. number _____
4. smth _____
5. carrt _____
6. ppular _____
7. glve ______
8. imprtant ______
★提示: 音节划分的规律是以元音字母或元音字母组合为核心, 以辅音字母为界线。
4. Wrk in pairs. Match the syllables t make six tw-syllable wrds. Then practise saying the wrds.
5. Listen and cmplete D.
