    Key vcabulary and phrases:

    2. Be skilled in ral expressin f greetings.
    Language pints:
    1.词汇:was brn, started t speak, learned t walk, learned t ride a bike, went t kindergarten, went t schl, learned t swim, fifteenth.
    2句型:
    I ... when I was ne year ld.
    3.语法: 部分动词过去式的使用。
    Analysis f key items and difficulties f teaching:
    Functin: Greetings in students’ daily life.
    Listening: Students can understand thers’ greetings by listening.
    Speaking: Students can intrduce themselves and greet with thers.
    Character building:
    Mtivate students’ interest in learning English. Make friends with all students.
    Teaching steps(教学步骤)
    1. Vcabulary study:
    Step 1: Play the recrding and have them pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
    Step 2: Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
    Step 3: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in PPT.
    Step 4: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in Activity6 and check their answer with their partner.
    2. Dialgue study:
    Step 1: Practice the dialgue with the whle class and have them make crrespnding reacts.
    Step 2: Have students t practise the previus dialgue with their partner.
    Play a game:
    Invite Ss t practise the dialgues:
    S1: I learned t speak when I was ne year ld.
    S2: I leaned t speak when I was 13 mnths ld.
    S3: I learned t ride a bike when I was 7. What abut yu?
    S4: I learned t ride a bike at 11years ld.
    T: I learned t swim when I was 11 years ld.
    S: I went t schl when I was 7.
    ...
    4. Presentatin.
    Shw a picture with Eric, let Ss guess what Eric wants t say t us.
    The answer is “learn t speak” r “learn t walk” Then help them t say: “learn t speak” r “learn t walk”
    Hmewrk:
    根据这节课所学句型编写一段对话。
