掌握以下重点句子:
①Jenny and Danny are making birthday cards for Li Ming.
②Best wishes to you on your thirteenth birthday.
③She goes to look for stamps,but she has no luck.
④Come on.Let’s go to the post office.
Step 1 Lead-in
Show the pictures to the students.Let them guess:
What do parents send to their child on his or her birthday?
What do children send to their mothers on their birthdays?
Let the students answer the questions in class.
Step 2 Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the correct words you hear.

Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3 Reading
Read the passage and decide if the following statements are true or false.

3.Brian closes the box with tape.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 4 Practice
Work in groups.Practice the text.Then present it in front of the class.When the students act,they can use their own words.
Read the text again and find more questions about this text.

Step 5 Activities

Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 1 together.Read the passage and answer the questions of Exercise 2.
