For many students, weekends are about going out with friends. Malhar Kalambe likes “going out” with his friends, too. Their meeting place, however, is not the same as other students’. It’s the Dadar Beach in Mumbai, Malhar's home city.

Dad Gives Their All

Xiao Er'dong is a boy who loves marathons(马拉松). He dreams of being a world-class runner. But his father doesn't agree with this. Xiao practices running in secret. But one day, when his father runs a marathon himself, he finally understands his son. They run the race together!

This is the story of On Your Mark (《了不起的老爸》). The movie came out on June 18 to celebrate Father's Day, which fell on June 20 this month .

Someone says that a father's love is as strong as a mountain. Fathers are said to be more silent and strict than mothers. Some might even don't know how to show their love. But they still play an important role in their children's growth.

Studies show that children who have good relationships with their fathers behave(表现) better. When fathers are absent (缺席的), children are more likely to feel worried, drop out of school (辍学) and have bad relationships, according to HuffPost.

These days, some fathers even become stay-at-home dads. According to a2019 study, 76 percent of Chinese dads like to spend time with and teach their kids. In South Korea, the number of stay-at-home dads is getting bigger. It reached 13,000 in March, up 6,000 from 2019.

Downton Abbey is not a real place, but the house they used for the program is real. Highclere Castle in the south of England was a castle (城堡) 900 years ago, but in the 19th century, people changed it into a house.
