Step 1. Revisin
Revise the cmparative and superlative frm f adjectives.
Make the fllewing senences rally.
1. Milllie is tall, Sandy is taller than Millie, Amy is the tallest f the three.
2. Millie is careful, Sandy is mre careful, Amy is the mst careful f the three.
Step 2. Presentatin
Like adjectives, adverbs can be used in cmparative and superlative degrees where adjectives mdify nuns and ther adjectives, adverbs mdify verbs, verb frms and adjectives.
We can frm cmparative and superlative adverbs in the same way as we d fr cmparative and superlative adjectives.G thrugh the grammar table at the tp f page 69. (Remind the students that cmparative / superlative adverbs are frmed by –er / -est t the verbs r by writing “mre” / “mst” in frnt f the verbs. Als remind the students that sme adverbs are irregular, such as: well – better –best, badly –wrse –wrst, far –farther/further –farthest/furthest)

Prgramme. Millie has asked her classmates what they think f the different drama series n TV
this mnth. Help her cmplete her reprt with infrmatin gathered in the survey.

Chse fur TV prgrammes that are shwn regularly n lcal TV. It wuld be better if yu can find fur English prgrammes that students are familiar with n the bard, write a similar table .
Divide the students int fur r five grups. Assign each grup ne f the TV prgrammes listed in the table. Tekk each gru they must ask their classmates whether they watch the prgramme regularly, whether they like tge actrs and whether they think it is a gd stry. Then write the scres in the table At last, write sentences summarizing the results n the bard, e.g.
