Lesson 28 A Family Picnic
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:picnic,carry,basket,lot,quiet。
2.让学生了解更多关于野餐的词汇。
3.让学生了解一些有关表示动作进行的句型。
1.掌握一些与野餐有关的词汇:picnic,make,food,drink。
2.激发学生兴趣,让学生学会介绍自己野餐的情况。
掌握以下重点句子:
①My family and I are going on a picnic near the lake.
②My dog Rover is with us,too.
③What is my mum doing?
④I have some cookies for Rover,too.
Step 1:Lead-in
Lead-in by discussing the following question:
How do we get ready for the picnic?
Discuss in groups for three minutes. Then let some groups present their answers in front of the class.
Step 2:Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the passage. At the same time,fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
1.Bob is________a big box of food.
2.Bob and Lynn are________.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3:Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions:
1.What is Jenny doing for the picnic?
2.What is Rover doing?
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4:Practice
Ask the students to write a note to introduce one of their picnics.
Work in groups to finish the task. After a while,let some groups present their notes in front of the class.
When the students are preparing,the teacher can walk around the classroom to solve the problems that probably happen.
Step 5:Come to “Let’s Do It!”
Listen to the lesson again,and then ask the students to finish Exercise 1.Read the lesson again and match the people with the actions in Exercise 2 together.
Ask the students to finish Exercise 3 in pairs.
Finish Exercise 4 in “Let’s Do It!”.
