t cry. As he cried,a spirit appeared. She asked the man what was wrng. She listened t the wdcutter and felt srry fr him. But what culd she d t help? Suddenly she came up with a great idea. The spirit dve int the lake and brught back a gld axe. “Is this the axe yu lst?” asked the gd spirit. The man lked at the gld axe,knwing it wasn't his.
