    Step 1. Talk abut the subject in this unit: Celebrating Me! In this unit we will find ne’s talents. Why are we different frm thers? Li Ming will give a reprt t the class t shw his talents t the thers.
    Step 2. Cme t “Chat Shw”
    Let the students answer the questins:
    1. What d yu think f yurself? Hw are yu unique?
    2. Are yu prud f yurself? Why r why nt?
    Talk with the partners fr a while. Then let sme students cme t the frnt and share their ideas with the thers.
    Step 3. Listen t the tape. Can the students retell Li Ming’s truble in a third persn?
    Let them try.
    Step 4. Have a further discussin abut Li Ming’s e-mail. Ask the students:
    1. Can yu help him?
    2. What’s yur advice?
    3. D yu have the same truble like him?
    Step 5. Listen t Part 2. This e-mail is frm Jenny. Let’s see Jenny’s advice tgether.
    1. D yur classmates like yu? Why d they like yu?
    2. What makes yu a gd student?
    3. Are there many special things yu d?
    4. D yu have special talents?
    Step 6. Listen t the tape again. Let’s have a further discussin abut the tw e-mails.
    Step 7. Cme t “LET’S DO IT”
    Divide the class int several grups. Write the letter and then share yur letter with the thers in the grup. Let every grup chse a best ne t read in frnt f the class. Let’s enjy tgether.
    Hmewrk:
    1. Finish ff the activity bk.
    2. G n the next reading in the student bk.
    Summary:
    The teacher can suppse a situatin the same as Li Ming. If yu ask the students t describe themselves in their reprts, what truble will they meet? Let them write dwn their difficulties. Are they the same as Li Ming’s? Please try.
