    《普通高中英语课程标准（2017版）》指出：“高中英语课程应充分发展课程的育人功能。发展学生的语言能力、文化品格、思维品质和学习能力等英语学科核心素养。”在主题意义的引领下，以语篇为依托，整合性地学习语言知识和文化知识，通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等一系列促进语言、文化、思维融合发展的活动，帮助学生以主动、合作、探究的学习方式，运用所学语言知识和听说读写看等语言技能，以及多种学习策略，获取文化知识，发展逻辑思维和批判思维，使围绕主题意义的探究活动逐步从基于语篇的学习走向深入语篇和超越语篇的解决问题的过程，实现从知识向能力，能力向素养的转化，把英语学科素养的育人目标落到实处。

教学内容分析：

主题意义：

本单元的主题是“运动与健康”，在这一主题下用一个真实感人的比赛故事结束本单元的阅读，体现了真正的体育精神“友谊第一，比赛第二”，并为写作话题“My story”提供范本和语言支撑。

主要内容：

本课文本记述了在西班牙举办的第十五届圣巴巴拉骑行大赛终点线上的故事。选手埃斯特班排在第三名，胜利在望，但是当他离终点线300米时，他的自行车轮胎被刺破了。但他没有放弃，把自行车放在肩上，朝终点跑去。几秒钟后，排在第四名的纳瓦罗赶上了他，而纳瓦罗故意放慢速度，始终跟在埃斯特班后面到达终点线。观众们被纳瓦罗的体育精神所感动并欢呼。埃斯特班想把自己获得的铜奖送给纳瓦罗，但纳瓦罗拒绝了。两位选手把体育精神发挥到了极致。

文体结构：

该文本是一篇以第三人称视角写的记叙文，故事按照时间顺序由四部分构成，第一部分是故事发生的背景；第二部分是故事的发展，第三部分是故事的高潮，最后一部分为故事的结局以及作者对埃斯特班和纳瓦罗两位骑行选手所展示的体育精神的评价。

学情分析：

学生英语水平中等，词汇量、语言理解能力都有待提高，但能够掌握文章大意和提取相应细节信息。

学生对于写记叙文讲故事并不陌生，但对这种记叙文的语言以及连接词的使用还不能很好地把握，需要老师引领学生分析所给范文以获取所需信息和语言。

教学目标：

在本课学习结束时，学生能够：

1. 总结出范文中记述故事的语言，连接词；

2 . 将所学写作范文中的语言恰当地应用到自己要写的故事中;

2. 利用写作评价标准与同伴互相修改作文并反思改进。

通过问答激活学生上一节课所学知识，为下面的写作实践做准备。

Recommend the best wirtten essay that you would like to show in the class and point out the part that impresses you most.

Sample：

   Last weekend our school held a sports meeting. Knowing it was our first high school sports meeting, we decided to make it an unforgettable experience for all of us.

   We first attended the opening parade, for which our class had made a lot of preparations. Our parade took on the shape of the letter “V”, indicating victory for ourselves. To our excitement, our parade performance was a great success. After the parade, the games started. My classmates attended various events such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training they had done before, their performances were very impressive. On the stand, my classmates applauded and cheered for the athletes, some raising their cameras to capture the exciting moments. Finally, the result was announced. It was amazing that our class won the second place. Our efforts paid off! Cup in hand, we took a picture together.

   I believe this sports meeting will remain a precious memory for all of us as time goes by.
