    Hello, everyone. I’m Lu Xiao. I want to be a volunteer of protecting animals. I’m glad to make a speech here.

    I’m very kind and I care about animals. I’m very hard-working , so I am willing to do extra things after class. I love animals very much. I like to read books about animals and I also watch films about animals. I once helped to look after the little homeless animals. Last week I raised money for Save China’s Tigers. Animals are our friends, so protecting animals is protecting ourselves. If I can be a volunteer, I will work harder and do more meaningful things to protect animals. I will ask more people to love animals like me. I must try my best to make the world more beautiful.

    Saturday , May 8th

    It was fine. I went for an outing with my classmates today.

    At 8:00a.m.,we met at the school gate and then took a bus to the People’s Park. It took us half an hour to get there.

    The sun was shining and there were many people in the park. In the morning, we played all kinds of games. We had a picnic in the park at noon. After the picnic, we took many photos. Then we spent about one hour visiting the zoo.
