    词汇教授的环节紧凑,词与词之间过渡自然,整个环节逻辑性强,使学生对本课的重点词汇有深刻的理解和印象。句型操练环节让学生将所学的词汇进行拓展和延伸。

    Take ut a real basketball. Use it t teach the wrd “basketball”. Lead students t read it three times. Then lead students t answer “He can play basketball.” Write dwn the phrase “play basketball” n the blackbard. Stress that: basketball=basket + ball. Lead students t read it three times. Ask students t ask and answer in pairs by using the sentence patterns “— Can yu play basketball? —Yes, I can. / N, I can’t.”
    (2) Ask students t put their hands up if they can play basketball. Walk t ne f them.
    T: Yu can play basketball. Can yu play ftball? S1: …
    Then take ut a ping-png.
    T: Hw abut this? Can yu play ping-png? S1: …
    Take the ping-png and walk arund the classrm. Ask mre students t answer the questin “Can yu play ping-png?” Ask students t ask and answer in pairs by using the sentence patterns “—Can yu play ping-png? —Yes, I can. / N, I can’t.”
    T: Sme f yu can play ftball. Sme f yu can play basketball. Sme f yu can play ping-png. Hw abut Amy? What can she d?
    Shw the picture f Amy in “Let’s learn”. (出示课件) Lead students t answer “She can play ping-png.” Write dwn the phrase “play ping-png” n the blackbard. Lead students t read it three times.
    T: Lk! I can play basketball. I can play ping-png, t. (D the actins.)
    Ask students t stand up and d the actins tgether. Lead them t say the sentences at the same time.
    (3) T: Oh, I played t many sprts. Nw, I’m thirsty. I need t drink sme water.
    Take ut a fish tank with a little fish swimming in the water.
    T: What’s this in the water? Ss: It’s a fish.
    T: What can a fish d?
    If smene speaks ut the wrd “swim”, write it dwn n the blackbard. If they can’t, lead them t speak it ut. Then lead students t read the wrd three times.
    Shw the first picture in “Let’s learn”. (出示课件)
    T: Fish can swim. Hw abut the children? Can they swim?
    Lead students t answer “Yes, they can.” Ask students t ask and answer in pairs by using the sentence patterns “—Can yu swim? —Yes, I can. / N, I can’t.”

    Act like cking and lead students t say “Yu can ck.” Write dwn the wrd “ck” n the blackbard. Lead students t read the wrd three times.

    Give the spatula t the first student in a rw. Ask the students in this rw t pass the spatula ne by ne and say “I can ck.” by the game “Drive a train”.

    Ask students t bserve the picture carefully and encurage them t express their pinins. Lead students t say the sentence “They can speak English.”

    Lead students t say “Yes,I can. I can speak Chinese, t.” Write dwn the phrase “speak English” n the blackbard. Lead students t read the phrase three times.
