【教学过程】
1. Talk abut the universe.
(1) Write “Universe” n the bard.
(2) Ask students t think f the universe and add vcabulary wrds t the bard t create a wrd web. Guide students t include the wrds such as stars, planets, vastness, infiniteness in the diagram.
(3) Students cmplete the quiz n their wn.
2. Watch and check predictins.
(1) Explain t students that they will nw watch the first part f the vide. As students watch, they can answer the questins frm Activity 1.
(2) Review the answers.
3. Watch and cmplete a table.
(1) Tell students they will sn watch the rest f the vide.
(2) Discuss the table and clarify any unfamiliar terms r cncepts.
(3) In small grups students discuss what they think the answers will be.
(4) Play the vide.
(5) Allw students time afterwards t cmplete the table using the infrmatin mentined in the vide. If needed, play the vide again.
(6) Have students cmpare their answers with a partner and check answers as a class.
4. Pair Wrk: Watch again and discuss.

(1) Divide the class int small grups and encurage students t talk freely and t research the universe.
(2) Each student shares a few sentences with the class abut what std ut the mst fr them abut the universe.
