意为“用填充”。其中fill用作及物动词,意为“使充满”。

①nt als..连接两个并列成分作主语时,谓语动词的形式与其靠近的主语保持一致,即遵循“就近原则”。

②nt als..连接两个并列成分作句子的主语变为否定句时,应将nt als...换成 (既 ) ,谓语动词的形式仍然遵循“就近原则”。

③bth…and…意为“……和……都”,连接两个主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。

【辨析】attend,take part in, jin, jin in都有“参加;参与;加入”的意思。但还是有区别。
加人某党派、某组织或某社会闭体,用jin。 参加某种活动用jin in,如说“与某人一起做某事”,则用 jin sb. in sth. / ding sth.。
jin in多指参加小规模的活动如“球赛、游戏”等,常用于日常口语。
take part in参加(群众性活动、会议等),往往指参加者持积 极态度,起一定作用。
attend是正式用语,指参加会议,娇礼,葬礼,典礼;去上课,上学,听报告等。句子的主语只是去听,去看,自己不一定起积 极作用。
