As I explained hw it wrked t my classmates, a by yelled ut, “Aren’t thse fr ld men?” At that mment, I felt different. It tk a lng time fr me t get ver that sense f being s unlike my peers.
But it’s nt just schlkids wh can make us deaf and hardfhearing peple feel like burdens. Cmpletely deaf peple are excluded frm enjying many mvies t, as subtitles in cinemas are almst impssible t find.

As fr me, I can listen t music, enjy films, and catch cnversatins—I’m lucky. I’m deaf, but I can still hear everything. I’ve been blessed with wnderful life experiences, and I am human.
