    Gd speakers change the way they speak in different situatins. The expressins they use might depend n whm they are speaking t r hw well they knw each ther. It is all right t ask yur classmates direct questins because yu knw them well. Hwever, if yu say t yur teacher, “When is the schl trip?”, this might sund implite. But if yu say, “Excuse me, Mr. West. D yu knw when the schl trip is?”, this will sund much mre plite.
