1. what abut…？
英语中“What abut?”是一句常用的客套话，后面接名词，代词或动词的ing形式。what abut = hw abut ...怎么样？是英语口语中常用的两个省略句型，它们的意思和用法基本相同。如：1) what abut playing sprts? 做做运动怎么样？2）Hw abut yur mther? 你妈妈怎么样？
2.“need” 既可以作情态动词，也可以作实义动词，但是它们的用法不同。
need作为情态动词，表示“需要”或“必须”，通常用于否定句和疑问句。
如：They need nt cme. 他们不必来。
need作为实义动词时，通常用法是：
人＋need ＋t d ；物＋need ＋ding
如：I need t buy sme schl things.我需要买一些学习用品。
Their lessns need planning. 他们的课需要备。
