Nw new technlgy is starting t shw the army’s true clrs. Archelgists(考古学家)have recently discvered an area with mre than a hundred sldiers. Many f these still have their painted features, including black hair, pink faces, and black r brwn eyes. Chinese and German researchers have develped a chemical liquid(液体)t help save the sldiers’ clrs. After finding a sldier r anther art piece, archelgists put the liquid n it. They then cver it in plastic.

Archelgists are als finding clrs in the dirt arund the sldiers. It’s imprtant nt t d anything with the dirt, s the clrs wn’t be lst. “We are treating the dirt as an art piece,” says Rng B, the museum’s leading archelgist. Why is it that the peple yu meet when backpacking (背包旅行) seem t be mre interesting and utging than yur friends at hme? That’s my experience, anyway. Very ften, yu’ll meet peple that are fun t travel with and wrth getting t knw. I’ve spent time with peple f many cuntries and have fund ut sme interesting things abut their cultures. It’s a great way t learn mre abut the wrld.
It’s ften easy t make new friends while yu’re traveling, and yu’ll be able t hang arund with them fr a few days, until ne f yu leaves fr the next exciting place. Relatinships f this kind are shrter but can be just as strng as friendships back hme, because yu d s much tgether in that shrt time. I ften find I like t share things abut myself that I’d never say t my clse friends. It is safe, I think, because we prbably wn’t meet again, except nline.
One thing that’s imprtant when yu’re backpacking is t make sure yu carry nly basic needs, s yur backpack isn’t t heavy. I travel “light” these days. One gd tip smene gave me is t take ld clthes and just thrw them away when yu mve n, instead f washing and waiting fr things t dry. Many hstels (小旅社) dn’t prvide shamp and shwer gel. Yu can get mini bttles in supermarkets.
I’ve discvered that many backpackers visit little places ther turists dn’t g t, and by using lcal shps and guest huses, they help thse places with much-needed financial (经济上的) supprt. Mst small guest huses allw yu t stay fr unlimited time, s yu can spend as lng as yu like explring the lcal area.
