Accrding t Yeung, the decline in the labr frce in recent years is mainly wing t the shrinking f the lw-skilled labr frce, while the number f peple engaged in higher-end industries, research wrk and the services sectr is rising.
As ecnmic upgrading cntinues, the decline in the lw skilled labr frce shuld nt have quite a bad effect n China's ecnmic develpment, and the natin shuld take crdinated steps in industrial upgrading and the enhancing f its human resurces, which will further reduce the pressure f a shrinking wrkfrce and unleash(释放)grwth ptential, Yeung said.
