Yes, he was. Because as a ruler, he shuld pay attentin t his peple’s mrals and virtues. Only having gd mrals and virtues culd make his peple live with each ther in harmny, and his cuntry may be in cntrl and prsperity.
N, he wasn’t. Because n ne learnt anything frm his experiment. In the text, the milkman, the wman with water, the ther villagers ignred and even cmplained abut the stne and cntinued their jurney. It seemed that the scial respnsibility f the majrity is t little just because they are busy with their wn things.

Hwever, while the mral f the stry is clear, the actins f the king seemed pintless t me, because nne f the characters in the stry learnt anything. Fr this reasn, I think there are better stries that can be used t impress upn peple with the need fr persnal respnsibility.
