    Divide the class int Grup A and B. Draw tw baby birds n the blackbard as their symbls, tell the students that each time they answer questins right, they can get ne r mre pints fr their grup and draw ne r mre cluds belw their bird, at the end f the class, the grup which gets mre cluds will be the winner tday. Say, “One, tw, three!” Get the whle class sit straight, thus annunce the beginning f the cmpetitin
    Review intrductin
    Play the “Wrd train” game. Get a grup f students ask and answer questins ne by ne.
    T: Gd mrning. I’m Diana. What’s yur name?
    S1: I’m Xu Dng./My name is… Nice t meet yu.
    T: Nice t meet yu ,t.
    (Then S1 turn arund and greet S2 in the same way.)

    Shw the students pictures f sme famus persns like Jay Zhu, Liu Xiang, etc, let them guess the names f these persns by using the fllwing sentences:

    Is he/she……?
    III. Summary (shrt frms)
    Teach the students “’s” is shrt fr “is” and “m” is shrt fr “am”, then d the fllwing exercises:
    My name’s ______. Yur name’s _______.

    What’s ________. I’m ________.
