通过让学生造句，复习情态动词的用法，引出play加乐器和加球类的区别。

让学生听乐器声音，猜测是哪种乐器，进入到对新单词的学习。
play the guitar, play the piano, play the violin, play the drums.

听乐器声音，辨别乐器，调动学生的兴趣。

III．Practice

（练习）

1. Pairwork.
   T: OK, you know the names of the these instruments, I want to know if you can play the instruments.
   T: Can you play the piano?   S1: Yes, I can./No, I can't.
   T: Can you play the drums?   S2: ...

（Don’t forget the before the instruments.)

Students ask and answer questions about the instruments.

2. Listen and finish Section B 1a-1e on P 4.

Listen again.Fill in the chart.

1.通过结对活动，练习“play +the+乐器”这一结构，尤其是定冠词不可漏掉。

2听录音，训练学生的听力水平，突破听力难点。

2. Read the ads.Match the titles with the ads.

3. Match each person in 2a with an ad in 2b. Write A,B and C.
