Tell Ss to write some words beginning with “a” and “b”.4. Find the words in the dictionary and write down the page numbers.5. Discuss: Which word comes first? Which one comes next? Why? 6. The words in a dictionary are in alphabetical order from A to Z. This helps us find the words quickly.Look at the words on the blackboard. Because “a” comes before “b” in alphabetical order, all the words beginning with “a” comes before the words beginning with “b” in a dictionary.7. Discuss: If two words start with the same letter, what should we do? If the first two letters are the same, what should we do?
