    Object clause宾语从句,是名词性从句的一种。在主从复合句中充当宾语,位于及物动词、介词或复合谓语之后的从句称为宾语从句。宾语从句分为三类:动词的宾语从句,介词的宾语从句和形容词的宾语从句。
    Using adjectives + that-clauses
    Presentatin
    Sme adjectives can be fllwed by a that-clause. Nte that we can smetimes leave ut that.Yu shuld be aware (that) stress is a risk t yur health.Here are sme adjectives we can use in this way:

    Language pints.
    主语 + 系动词 + 形容词 + 从句:1. 此类结构一般为宾语从句,即“be + 形容词 + that从句”: 常用形容词有sure, afraid, happy, surprised等。例如:I am sure that the match between the tw teams will be exciting.He was happy that he had gt an A fr his English.He was surprised that they had married.
    形容词 + that从句:2. 若形容词后面的从句修饰形容词,则是状语从句。如:I am pleased that I wasn’t late.(原因状语从句)Cmpare:I am afraid that I will be late.(宾语从句)如果是afraid后面跟名词,需要用be afraid f + 名词。
    形容词 + that从句:3. 若主句的谓语动词是一般现在时,从句的谓语动词可根据需要,选用相应的任何时态。4. 若主句的谓语动词为一般过去时,从句的谓语动词一般用过去时态,即一般过去时,过去进行时,过去将来时或过去完成时。

    Rewrite the sentences using the adjectives in brackets.

    An bject clause takes the place f the bject in a sentence.
    Yu will find that taking up a hbby can help yu reduce stress.
    Smetimes there is an indirect bject r a phrase with t befre the bject clause.

    宾语从句复习宾语从句由陈述句或疑问句的直接引语变化而来。学习宾语从句需要掌握三要素:√ 语序√ 时态√ 连接词
    宾语从句之语序语序:陈述句语序连接词 + 主语 + 谓语 + 其他成分Rn asked where we wuld meet tmrrw.Rn问我们明天在哪见面。
    宾语从句之时态时态:主现从不限,主过从四过
    当从句表示的是客观事实、真理、自然现象、名言警句等时,从句时态不受主句时态限制,仍采用一般现在时
    宾语从句之连接词1. 直接引语是陈述句时用连接词that。that常用于say, think, believe, expect, hpe, knw, remember, sure, glad, srry, afraid等词之后,无词义,只起连接作用,多数情况下可省略。Vicki said, “I like Miyazaki Haya very much.”宾语从句:Vicki said that she liked Miyazaki Haya very much.
    宾语从句之连接词2. 直接引语是一般疑问句/选择疑问句/反义疑问句用连接词if/whether。Rn asked, "Can yu and Vicki g with me tmrrw?"宾语从句:Rn asked if/whether Vicki and I culd g with him tmrrw.
    宾语从句之连接词3. 直接引语是特殊疑问句时用特殊疑问词,但需分类使用:(1) 当从句不完整(缺少主语/宾语/表语/定语等成分)时,用疑问代词what、wh、which、whm、whse代替所缺少的成分。Can yu tell me what I shuld d?(2) 当从句中基本成分完整,但是缺少状语(方式/原因/地点/时间等成分)时,用疑问副词hw、why、where、when。Rn asked where we wuld meet tmrrw.
    只能用whether不能用if的情况1. 与r nt搭配使用时Let me knw whether yu can cme r nt.让我知道你是否能来。2. 当主句谓语动词是由“动词 + 介词”构成的短语时Everything depends n whether yu agree with us.所有的事情都取决于你是否同意我们的观点。
    只能用whether不能用if的情况3. 当宾语从句为了起强调作用置于句首时Whether this is true, I can't tell.我也不能识别这是不是真的。4. 后接动词不定式时l dn't knw whether t see my dctr tday.我不知道今天去不去看医生。5. 当使用if易造成句子歧义时Please let me knw whether yu want t g. 请告诉我你是否想去。
