Ask:1. What TV programme will you watch if you finish your homework early tonight?
2. If it is sunny this Saturday, what will you do?
2.Work out the rule
We use if to talk about the result of a possible action.
3.Presentation Give the students more examples:
If I have enough time, I will help many people.
If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home.
If you work hard, you will learn English well.
If it does not rain tomorrow, we will have a trip.
We will go fishing if it is fine next Sunday.
4.Work out the rule
We often use the simple present tense in the if-clause. We need a comma after the if-clause when it is the first part of a sentence.
