2、能够利用构词法理解一些生词的意思。
五、教学准备：课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息，培养学生阅读技能。在教学过程中，采用多媒体手段辅助教学，利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。因此，本节课需准备：PPT课件。

Step Two Pre- reading (5’)
| 1.Check the new words. （1）Show more pictures and things to get the students fill in the blanks with right words.
（2）Organize them to read the new words together. 2.Free talk. （1）Show the pictures on the screen and ask the students to discuss in pairs, encourage them to discuss which ways are good for the environment.（Activity1） （2）Guessing. （Activity2） Ask the students to guess what suggestions will the passage make based on the title. Give some words to help them. Eg. china, divide, necessary, plastic, policy ,reuse… |
（1）Watch pictures learn some new words and try to fill in the blanks with right words.
（2）Read the new words together.
（1）Students discuss in pairs according to the picture that the teacher show on the screen. Try to say more sentences.
（2）Students guess some suggestions by using the words given in the box. |
通过图片与单词对应直观形象，使学生更容易记住单词，然后让学生用生词简单谈论哪些方法对环境有利，并对文章进行猜测。不但强化生词，而且更好的了解各种对环境有利的生活方式，为阅读语篇扫除生词障碍。

| 1. Scanning Ask students to scan the passage and find out the answer: What words should we repeat daily? 2. Skim Get the Ss to skim the passage and finish Activity 3, check the suggestions that are mentioned in the passage.
Paragraph 1&2 (1) Read Paragraph1&2 then answer the question: ①Check “How green you are?” with your partners. ②What words should we care about?
(2)Let the students read Paragraph 1 in groups of six and find out difficulties.
(3) Ask them to solve difficulties.
Paragraph 3 (1) Read Paragraph3 and answer the questions: ① What does “reduce” mean? ② Reduce saves _____and causes_____________.
(2) Ask a student to be “a little teacher” to check the answers.
(3) Organize the whole class to read together.
(4)Ask some little teachers to solve the difficulties.
Paragraph 4 (1)Ask the students to read Paragraph4, then answer the following questions. ①What does “reuse” mean? ②Should we use chins cups and cloth bags? Why?
(2) Ask a student to be “a little teacher” to check the answers.
(3) Organize the whole class to read together.
(4)Organize some students to come to the blackboard and show out some difficult language points that they found in these paragraphs.
