Period 6 Part C Story time一、教学目标知识目标1．能够理解故事内容；2．能够朗读故事并分角色表演故事。能力目标1．培养学生的阅读理解能力；2．培养学生的表演能力。情感目标1．教育学生要热爱地球，保护生态环境；2．培养学生团结协作的意识。二、教学重难点教学重点能够理解故事内容。教学难点能够朗读并分角色表演故事。三、教学过程Step 1：Warm­up1．教师播放本单元歌曲Changes in me，带领学生大声跟唱。2．教师带领学生复习本单元的重点知识：(1)教师依次呈现本单元单词卡片。如dining hall、grass、gym、go cycling、ice­skate、badminton。要求学生举手抢答，说出其中文意思并拼读。若中文意思和拼读都正确，学生可得两分，若只对其中一项，学生得一分。最后看一看谁的分数最高。(2)教师请几名学生说一说学校过去和现在的变化，如：S1：Before，there was no library.Now，there is a new one.S2：Before，there were no computers.Now，there is a computer room.S3：Before，there was no dining hall.Now，there is a big one....Step 2：PresentationStory time·教材意图本环节通过趣味故事复习巩固本单元所学语言，同时补充学习一些跨学科的历史、生物等知识，增加学生的语言输入量。·教学建议(1)教师用多媒体呈现佐姆和兹普的图片，说：Zip and Zoom are reading a magazine.What is the magazine about？然后让学生观察此环节情景图片，感知故事大意。(2)教师播放录音，让学生认真听，然后自由讨论并回答问题：What is the magazine about？教师总结：The magazine is about the past，the present and the future of the cooking，the environment and the whales.(3)教师让学生自行阅读故事，并用笔勾画出不理解的地方，如cavemen、raw、human等，然后举手提问，教师统一答疑。(4)教师播放录音，并分发表格，学生听录音并试着补全下列表格：ItemIn the pastNowIn the futureCookingCavemen didn’t cook.  The EarthThere were many trees and clean rivers.  Whales   教师带领学生依次阅读这三段小故事，并带领学生补全表格。(5)教师播放录音，让学生模仿其语音、语调反复跟读。(6)教师先和一名基础较好的学生示范表演，然后让学生模仿并分角色练习表演故事。Step 3：Practice(1)教师把学生分为五人一组，每组自由选择Story time中的一个点制作相应的海报，并对海报进行解说，如做饭、环境、鲸鱼。(2)教师请各组展示并解说自己制作的海报，其他学生进行评价。最后教师总结，向学生传递爱护地球、保护环境的理念。Step 4：Consolidation and extension1．学生把Story time的故事读给家长听。2．完成配套的课时作业。四、板书设计Unit 4　Then and nowCavemen often ate raw meat.In 2050，there will be house robots.Before humans lived on the earth，whales already lived in the sea.If we change now，whales and humans will have a bright future.五、作业一、连词成句。1．cook，didn’t，their，they，food(.)　They didn’t cook their food.　 2．will，house，there，be，robots.　There will be house robots.　 3．should，help，earth，the，we，now(.)　We should help the earth now.　 4．place，make，a，it，better(！)　 Make it a better place！　 二、从方框中选择正确的句子补全对话。Grandpa：Wow！Your school is big and new.What’s this building?Su Yang：1.　C　 Sometimes we have a PE class here.Grandpa：There was no gym in my school thirty years ago.Su Yang：There was no gym in our school two years ago.2.　D　 We had this teaching building five years ago.3.　 A　 Grandpa：4.　E　 Su Yang：Yes，we have four computer rooms now.And five years ago，we had our dining hall.Grandpa：5.　B　 Su Yang：Yes.There are many books in it.六、教学反思本课时以故事教学为主，并向学生传递保护环境的理念。在设计教学时，教师先让学生通过图片大致了解故事内容；然后通过听录音回答问题、自行阅读故事、让教师答疑以及完成表格的方式帮助学生进一步理解故事内容，让故事脉络清晰地呈现在学生面前。最后制作海报并解说的活动对于学生来说是有一定难度的，因此教师让学生分组完成，降低了难度，也锻炼了学生团结协作解决问题的能力。
